Ralph Zucker
President 

Ralph Zucker is President of Somerset Development, one of the New York Metropolitan area's foremost real estate companies specializing in New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Design development. Zucker is responsible for spearheading his firm's focus on creating sustainable, close-knit communities that promote pedestrian-friendly “live-work-play” experiences.

During his career, Zucker has worked hands-on in every facet of the building and development process, and has demonstrated diligence and a commitment to working with municipalities to create innovative communities based on the principles of New Urbanism. Zucker has emerged as one of the nation’s leading visionaries in the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of large-scale vacant industrial and office spaces.

Under Zucker’s leadership, Somerset and its projects have earned numerous industry awards and recognition for their contributions to furthering responsible development practices, including the New Jersey Future Smart Growth Award for Wesmont Station, Somerset's 70-acre, transit-oriented, mixed-use redevelopment project located in Wood-Ridge, N.J. and the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP’s Chairman’s Award for Bell Works, the redevelopment of the former Bell Labs property in Holmdel, N.J. Zucker has been recognized in the top ten of New Jersey’s 50 Most Influential People in the Real Estate Industry by NJBiz and as one of New Jersey’s 100 Most Influential People: Business and Real Estate by NJ.com.


Tom Michnewicz
Vice President of Development 


As Vice President of Development for Somerset Development, Tom Michnewicz is responsible for land acquisitions and approvals, overseeing planning and design, and maintaining relationships with municipal and state-level departments. 

Before joining Somerset Development, Michnewicz was a Senior Vice President at Bridgewater, N.J.-based Advance Realty, where he developed nearly 200,000 square feet of projects and consulted for corporations on an additional 500,000 square feet. He was involved in the development of Harrison MetroCentre, a 110-acre, urban mixed-use redevelopment in Harrison, N.J.; Middlebrook Center, a 104,000-square-foot, fully leased retail center in Bound Brook, N.J.; and Advance at Bridgewater II, an 84,000-square-foot speculatively developed office building. 
Prior to joining Advance Realty, Michnewicz was a Vice President of Investment and Sales for the Prudential Realty Group. During his 17-year tenure with Prudential, he was responsible for developing the prestigious Office Center and Hilton Hotel at Short Hills, Prudential Business Campus and Giralda Farms. 

A past president of the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, Michnewicz is currently chairman for NAIOP’s National Urban Redevelopment Forum. He serves on the NAIOP National Board of Directors and is an active member of both the Urban Land Institute and the New Jersey State Planning Commission. Michnewicz received his M.B.A. from Rutgers University and his B.S. from Seton Hall University


David Schreiber
Executive Vice President 

David Schreiber serves as the executive vice president for Somerset Development and has been with the company for over 18 years.  During his tenure, more than 1,000 homes have been built by Somerset.
David’s responsibilities include overseeing the entire construction process, coordinating sales and management personnel and schedules through project completion. In addition to the twelve plus communities that Somerset has completed or is currently constructing, David also was instrumental in the construction of many community projects in Lakewood.
David has received degrees from Beth Madrosh Gavoha in Lakewood and Beth Moshe in Scranton, PA.


William Schroeder
Controller 

William Schroeder serves as the controller of Somerset Development and has been with the company since 2006. He is responsible for the management and implementation of cash flow and work flow accountability to ensure company profitability.
Prior to joining Somerset, Schroeder served three years as the corporate controller for a large New Jersey regional builder. He has 22 years of experience in financial preparation and management reporting, along with formulating and executing strategic goals and objectives.

Schroeder is a graduate of Rutgers University and an active member of The NJCPA Society.


Peter Tisdale
Vice President

Peter Tisdale serves as Somerset Development's vice president and has been with the company since 2006. He oversees the company's commercial and residential construction divisions.

Tisdale has 25 years of experience within the industry, beginning his career as a job supervisor with Lanid Corporations. He then worked for Segal & Morel as a project manager and was promoted to vice president prior to joining Somerset Development as vice president in 2006.

Tisdale has been responsible for the development and completion of 23 communities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania encompassing 3,000 homes. He has also overseen the construction and completion of multiple commercial office buildings, retail stores and recreation centers throughout the region.

Tisdale is a graduate of Villanova University with a degree in civil engineering.

Robert J. Feinberg

Director of Operations

Robert J. Feinberg, Director of Operations for Somerset Development, facilitates the execution of the company’s development goals with a focus on efficiency.  Serving as the liaison between external partners, organizations and agencies and Somerset’s executive team and President, Robert harmonizes day-to-day operations with project completion, ensuring an end result consistent with the company's innovative approach to development and redevelopment in the region.

With degrees in both finance and law, for the past (25) years Robert has worked extensively with both public and closely held developers, tenants, REITS, contractors,  brokers and real estate management companies, acquiring a broad understanding of a the real estate sector.

Robert comes to Somerset Development following a successful career as a partner at a large law firm where his specialties included real estate.  During his tenure as an attorney, Robert received a multitude of honors and recognitions, including selection by the prestigious Chambers and Partners.
